A few words to carry Fenno through this evening, and hugs to Carol and
all of you.
--If only we could say "da capo" and begin again this wonderful life
of song. What glorious music and constant affection have carried so
many of us with you to these final measures. And the song does
conclude in true Fenno fashion, with a triple-forté major chord at the
top of everyone's range.
The website is a superb help for all of us. More soon.
Love,
Linus

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Fenno!
You inspired a generation, and we humbly follow in your footsteps singing the songs you made us sing so well.
You fired the imagination, sparked our inspiration, and fueled the determination to carry Yale Songs, Your Songs, 'round the world.
Brother, Sing On!
Love you, Mark Dollhopf '77

Humble Times.....
Kyle Pruett came by today to sit with Dad. He sang for him as well...Death Cannot Hold You Forever........We were not in the room with them at the time but are very grateful to Kyle for giving Dad that moment!
Fenno recordings are playing all the while........his Hospice Aides are getting an amazing experience, learning all about this man and his incredible musical gift to this world and now even to them!
The Heaths are thinking of all of the wonderful memories you all have given us and we are laughing, crying, numb, laughing, crying and numb and very humble too from all of the love we are feeling from Fenno's musical friends.

Tuesday Dec. 2
Fenno is still with us, although it will only be a day or two now.........He is resting very peacefully.
We have been playing CDs of his compositions for him and it's been extremely touching to hear his beautiful music at this time, as you can only imagine. We have a lovely 3 foot Christmas tree lit in his room and it's a very calm, warm, cozy, loving, family environment. Sitting with him, listening to his music.......it's overwhelming, to say the least. He is a beautiful soul.
